Detailed Notice
Inviting Expression of Interest
Notice Inviting Expression of Interest (EOI) for “Design,
Installation, Commissioning and operation of 70 TPH Grinding Unit
for gypsum grinding for RSMML near Villages Barsalpur,
Tehsil-Kolayat District Bikaner, Rajasthan” on DBOO basis.
Preamble:
Rajasthan State
Mines and Minerals Limited (RSMML) is one of the leading and
progressive Undertakings of the Government of Rajasthan. It occupies
a place of pride in production and marketing of non-metallic
minerals of India. RSMML is multi mineral and multi location
enterprise engaged in mining of Rock Phosphate, Lignite, SMS grade
Limestone and Gypsum. RSMML is not only the leader in Mining &
Selling of Rock Phosphate and Gypsum across the country, but also
global pioneer in technology in open cast mining and mineral
beneficiation of Carbonate Rock Phosphate. Besides minerals, RSMML
has also forayed into Energy Sector and has setup 106.3 MW installed
capacity Wind Power Project at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
As fertiliser grade
gypsum has become an increasingly important input for satisfying
demands of an expanding population for agriculture use, RSMML
proposes to install a gypsum grinding unit on DBOO (Design, Built,
Own and Operate) basis.
Existing Status of the Gypsum Resource:
As
far as gypsum resource is concerned, we are producing about 80%
gypsum from Ballar group of mines. The main gypsum mines in coming
time that will be put in to operation in near future are either in
the south or south-west direction of the Ballar group of mines. The
possibilities of new gypsum deposits are in the area between
Indo-Pak border and cluster of mines existing in Ballar areas.
Applied areas for mining lease are near village- Kabarewala,
Akkhusar, Kayamwala and Kabarewala. These Gypsum deposits are having
about six million tonnes of gypsum reserves and are situated at
about 6-8 Kms from proposed location of grinding unit.
Process Description
Party
is required to design a proper flow sheet matching all the unit
operations that are required for efficient operations. The ore
properly sized (-150mm) and blended (so as to give +70% CaSO4
2H2O) is to be loaded in to a ROM hopper of
suitable capacity. The material will be drawn from the ROM hopper
through a belt feeder/apron feeder conveyor driven by a variable
speed motor to control the feed rate. Party preferably may consider
the two stages crushing to achieve the output material of 100% (-)
2mm size and 50% should pass through 0.25mm sieve which is the
essential requirement. Moisture content should not exceed 4% on air
dry basis.
