The Rajasthan State Petroleum Corporation
Limited was incorporated as wholly owned subsidiary company of RSMML
on 10th July, 2008 and the certificate of Business commencement has
been obtained on 27th November, 2008.
Functions:

The Corporation has been incorporated
for the following broad activities :

To
participate in NELP/CBM bidding process for allotment of blocks for
Petroleum/CBM.

To
have strategic partnership with national, multinational, private and
public sector companies for development of hydro carbon sector in
the State.

Participation in refinery and petro chemicals projects.

Establishment of Gas Grid for transmission of Gas and City Gas
Distribution Project including laying of pipelines.

Development of Underground Coal / Lignite Gasification & Coal to
Liquid Project through Public Private Partnership.
Objective:
To develop and
undertake all activities in Petroleum & Natural Gas Sectors from owing
of rights for exploration to refining, processing, storage,
transportation, distribution, marketing of petroleum products and
natural gas including laying of pipelines etc.
Capital :
Authorised capital of Corporation is Rs. 5.00 Crore and present paid
up capital is Rs. 10.00 lacs.

Future outlook :
Based on reports of
the Indian School of Petroleum, New Delhi and report of the Committee
constituted for Development of Oil & Petroleum Sector in the State,
Corporation shall prepare road map for the activities to be undertaken
in planned manner in near future.
