DETAILED NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed  tenders  in two parts ( Part-I Techno-commercial offer & Part-II Price offer ) are invited only  from reputed & established manufacturer or their authorised dealer for supply of  following:-

The Techno-commercial suitability of the offers will be ascertained on the basis of  past track record of the tenderer to supply tyres of similar specifications, the quantum of supplies and performance of such supplies etc,  documents submitted along with Part –I of the offer and/or the information gathered by the RSMML about the tenderer. The price  offer of only techno-commercially acceptable tender(s) will be opened on a later date, which will be informed  to such Tenderer(s) only. The decision of the Company shall be final and binding in this regard. 

Only established manufacturers of proven past record are eligible to quote.  In case of participation by authorised/accredited dealer on behalf of their manufacturer,   the dealer has to furnish authorisation/accreditation certificate of the manufacturer in his favour to participate against this tender on their behalf. 

If Tyres of make other than the established makes at our mines found Techno Commercially acceptable & financially competitive,  the company  may consider to place a trial order to begin with.  The decision of the company in this regard shall be final and binding 

The tenderer / bidder who have earlier been suspended or banned by the company shall not be eligible to participate in this tender during the currency of suspension / ban period. 

The tender document (non-transferable) can be obtained from the office of DGM (F&A)  on the above address from  26.07.2010 to 17.08.2010  upto 1.00 PM on payment of non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 1140/- (Rupees one thousand one hundred forty only), inclusive of VAT by Cash/Demand Draft / Pay Order in favour of RSMML payable at Udaipur. Alternately interested tenderer(s) may directly down load the tender document from our website www.rsmm.com and furnish their offer along- with the tender document fee in a  sealed envelop as prescribed at clause no. 2.1 of sec-I, failing which their offer will not be considered.  

The tender shall be received by the office of GGM (MM) on or before  17.08.2010 up to 3.00 PM and Part I (Techno Commercial offer) of the tender will be opened on same day at 3.30 PM in the presence of representatives of participant tenderers, who may like to attend the opening.   The prescribed Earnest Money Deposit of Rs. 1,76, 500/- (Rs. One  lakh Seventy six  thousand  five hundred only) shall be payable by  Demand Draft/Pay Order in favour of RSMML payable at Udaipur alongwith part I of tender as per provision mentioned in the document, without which no offer will be considered. RSMML is not responsible for postal delay or misplacement of offers. Fax /e-mail / telegraphic offers are not acceptable. RSMML reserves the right to reject any or all the offers, to cancel the tender, postpone it for another day, to change the venue of receipt/ opening of tender, to increase / decrease the quantity, to withdraw the item at any time, to meet the requirement either with 100% Imported/Indigenous tyres only or in combination of both Imported & Indigenous tyres in any proportion, to place orders  on more than one tenderer, without assigning any reason(s) at its sole discretion.
